Eugene Bergen, President of EMEA, is responsible for defining and executing the company’s business strategy across multiple markets in Europe and the Middle East.
Under Eugene’s stewardship, the EMEA region has continued to expand and gain increased penetration into key markets, providing our customers access to all the right places, partners and possibilities to achieve their digital transformation goals.
Prior to taking on this role, Eugene was Senior Vice President for EMEA Sales, where he tripled revenues in five years. He regionalized network sales and developed a corporate sales team and channel organization, all while ensuring that his team worked closely with customers to identify their needs and help them achieve their business goals.
Eugene joined Equinix in 2013 and has more than 20 years of experience as a leader, driving growth and scale in leading technology firms, including Syniverse, IMC, AVIO Digital and Philips. In addition, he is a board member of 3D desktop printing company Ultimaker.
