Africanus Mensah is the Chair of the MainOne Ghana Board. He is the Owner & CEO of Amaja Oilfield Limited, was appointed as Board Chair in March of 2011. Africanus holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, USA. He also possesses management certificates from MIT Sloan, USA and the University of Michigan Business School also in the USA.Africanus began his work career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services Limited, where he worked for over 18 years in the Oil & Gas industry and rose to the Vice President for West Africa Operations and also Vice President QHSE for North and South America Region. His career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services spans over 11 different countries, including The United States, The United Kingdom, Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Italy, France, Angola and Nigeria.
Mrs. Olusola Ogundimu is the Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Legal Consultants, Ghana. She has over two decades experience in legal, regulatory, commercial activities and strategic transactions across West Africa. She has also worked with the Department For International Development (DFID) on projects within the region. Mrs. Ogundimu earned Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1986 and 1991 respectively and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1992, and the Ghanaian Bar in 2007. She has worked in different countries across West Africa, specifically Nigeria, Ghana and Sierra Leone. She is a member of various professional associations including the Nigerian Bar Association, the Ghana Bar Association, the Intellectual Property Law Association and the International Trademark Association.
Mr. Kazeem Olawale Oladepo is a Director of MainOne Ghana. He is also the General Counsel and Business Executive, Francophone West Africa and Ghana at MainOne. Prior to joining MainOne, he was the Director of Corporate Strategy and Development at Starcomms Plc, Nigeria, where he had also served as the Head of Legal/Regulatory Services and the Company Secretary. Mr. Oladepo has core expertise in legal, regulatory, commercial activities and strategic transactions and has extensively been involved in implementing strategic policies within the Nigerian telecommunications industry. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Licensed Telecoms Operators of Nigeria (ALTON), the industry body for all communication Companies in Nigeria.
Mr. Angelo Govina is General Manager (Sales) for Ghana and Francophone West Africa at MainOne, with responsibility for the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives specific to MainOne Ghana. Angelo is also accountable for developing sales across the West Africa Region and building the MainOne brand into a leading global enterprise. Has has worked with a number of global brands in Ghana, including DHL, Vodafone and Microsoft, where he served as Corporate Sales Manager and Head of Sales. At Vodafone Ghana, Govina was the first Ghanaian Country Manager of Vodafone Global Enterprise, and headed the local operations of the global unit within Vodafone Group. Mr. Govina is an astute sales and business professional with over fifteen (15) years commercial and sales management experience across shipping, logistics and telecommunications sectors. His expertise spans the areas of B2B Sales, Business Strategy Development and Implementation and General Management. Govina holds an MBA (Marketing) from the University of Ghana.
