Paul Jaikaran, Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Mr. Paul Jaikaran is Chief Technical Officer. Prior to MainOne, Paul was the CTO of GSTelecom, Vodacom Business Africa and ipNX. He started his career in networking with the Shell Petroleum Group some 23 years ago, initially with Shell UK as a Data network Engineer, then various roles in Shell Petroleum Development Company and Shell Nigeria Exploration (deep water) including Operations, Network Design and Project Management. As the CTO Paul is responsible for all technical activities for MainOne. His responsibilities will include directing all new service development, network and data center planning and engineering and implementation/build-out, operations management, network and service performance assurance, and also managing the ICT portfolio in line with business requirements. Paul is a British national and a graduate of Imperial College (University of London) with an MSc in Communications Engineering.
